I have too much work! Last year United Way gave a grant to 2 non-profit day care centers for geriatric massage. 6 participants were picked from each facility. SOAP notes were kept, comments made by the participants, and the end of the year was Dec 31st. However, I was informed that the grant was extended because of the positive results! I am back and when I entered the facilities, the clients couldn't get to my office fast enough. I was also informed that the VA hospital is very interested in establishing a massage therapy department. The supervising nurse is aware of the healing aspects of therapeutic massage. All she needs is person power. It's happening! They are hearing us! New Ideas
