RN since 1969, LMT since 1988, I have been serving on the NANMT Board of Directors in the appointed position of Education Director since Jan. 2003, and have been part of NANMT since its early days in the 1990's. I gathered ads for the NANMT magazine back in those days. Andy Bernay Roman has always been an inspiration to me, and a guide into the power of bringing what seems to many to be two separate worlds into one coherent practice: nurse massage therapy. I maintain a small private massage practice. I worked in med-surg, then obstetrics for many years. Now, I work on bringing forward ways to welcome baby through massage with the newborn and training instructors to help!
