As Nurse Massage Therapists, we need to expand our knowledge in the care and special needs of older adults. In response to this need, the NANMT has entered into a partnership with the American Nurses Association and the John A. Hartford Foundation Institute for Geriatric Nursing, entitled Nurse Competence in Aging.(click here for background info)

As part of this committment, NANMT has joined a webfellow ring with other nursing specialty groups to share resources in the field of geriatric nursing, and geriatric massage. Check our link page. Read about our recent grant. Stay tuned for postings on NANMT's regional conferences which highlight the latest treatment strategies in working with older citizens.
