NCA Grant

NANMT AWARDED $13,000 GRANT!
Karen Horsley, Manager of the Nurse Competence in Aging Project of the ANA, just announced that the Nurse Competence in Aging (NCA) Selection Committee has awarded NANMT an ANA-SNAPG implementation grant for the period of February 1, 2005, to January 31, 2007. The grant totals $13,000 and will go towards funding NANMT activities that further the Project.

Ms. Horsley writes: "We are delighted to welcome NANMT to the NCA family of specialty nursing organizations."

Thanks to the hard work of NANMT members Joyce Garland, Ethlyne Davidson, Teresa Ramsey, and Arlene Frederick, NANMT will now be able to host regional conferences on gerontology massage for the next year or two, and bring vital information and skill sets to nurses across the USA.

If you're interested in participating in this NANMT project, please contact Ethlyne Davidson or Joyce Garland or Arlene Frederick.
