ABMP STATE MASSAGE THERAPY LAWS

What does my state require of me? This is a common question for those interested in dual licensure. Click here to view an interactive map of state boards and requirements.

JUDY DEAN, NANMT'S PRESIDENT, STEPS DOWN, and so does our Organization.

Judy Dean, NANMT's president, has stepped down from her Board leadership position for medical reasons. We wish her speedy recovery! Judy was the face of NANMT for its last two years, as well as its driving and cohesive force. We miss her dearly.

Over time, for financial and personnel reasons, the Board was unable to rally enough support to keep the NANMT afloat. So this is goodbye. We'll keep the website up just for information's sake.

NANMT has been a member in the Nursing Organization Alliance (NOA), and procured full recognition in the nursing world of Nurse Massage Therapy as a nursing specialty. This not only anchored our specialty nursing practice, it also boosted massage/bodywork in the eyes of the medical health care community. Nurses bring credibility wherever they go!

However you can, keep on promoting the loving therapeutics of touch in healthcare!
